I have been trying to reach your organization because I need to return the product. I have emailed customer service twice to the email provided and no one has contacted me. There is no phone number to reach so I am very frustrated that I can't contact anyone from your company.
Perfect rust inhibitors
I bought, was charged, never showed up. I emailed support and no response. SCAM
Fast and easy
I used this to spray inside the removable plugs in the wheel wells of m GMC Sierra. I flush the wheel wells of dirt and salt twice a year and then spray this product inside the holes to prevent any corrosion from beginning. So far, so good!
This is a great product. I sprayed the cad plated hardware that came with a hitch kit with it about 6 months ago. The coating has proven durable and I see no evidence of the coating separating. The hardware still looks brand new.
Used this to rust proof my F150 Supercrew. Sprayed it in the rockers, doors, tailgate, and rear wheel arches. Took about 4 cans to get decent coverage. You'll have to use the nozzle of another product if you want to spray it through a straw. Sprays kinda watery so it seeps between pinch welds and seams pretty well, but also sticks to where you spray it. Dries to a slightly sticky amber color. Stinks horribly when you are applying it and will give you a headache so do it in a well ventilated area. I plan on reapplying it every fall. Only time will tell how well it actually stops rust.
Salt water/salt air...a thing of the past. Works absolutely fantastic, no more wiring or connection problems or corrosion in my boat, Wish I had this product a long time ago. Saves all kinds of time and money!!!
Make sure to wear gloves. Smells good using it. Smells bad after 6 hours not being able to get rid of it. Small learning curve when using it for RC stuff but now I can fly my drone in the rain :) Tried a motor/esc underwater and it works!
Have just recently used it with good a result. Applies easily. Appears to adhere well. When it gets dirty just a water hose cleans it up nicely. Have not had to respray because it has only been on for a few weeks . Time will tell if it stands up to our east central Florida weather.
Works just fine. Read this is one of the top two corrosion inhibitors. (Just cheaper than the other one)
Great stuff I used it the other day and it works great and it’s a little harder drying then fluid flim ,, I use both on my GMC YUKON DENALI for full rust protection
Best on the markeg
This is the best product I have used to put on clean metal or metal with a little surface rust to prevent rust from spreading. If the metal getstoo corroded I don't think this prevents the rust from spreading. I have also tried rust converters like por-15 and on heavily corroded metalI didn't think it worked real well unless you can get every piece of rust coated. So what I like to do on heavily rusted areas is to spray on some heavy oil and spray this over the oil. There is only one way to stop heavy corrosion and that is to cut the rusted area out and replace the metal. On heavily rusted areas I think the only thing you can hope for is to slow down the spread of rust. The spray nozzle didn't work real well tospray the under side of my car in all the nooks and crannies, I would have preferred a fan spray, but overall good product.
This stuff really works to stop corrosion. Only drawback is that it comes out as a brown spray. It really coats whatever you spray and stays on.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Compared to some other products I purchased which went on heavy and wet (and still haven't dried), this product sprayed evenly, lightly, and dried to a hard waxy compound, like the old school Cosmoline.I believe this spray will properly fight off corrosion and salt spray. I used it to spray down my Chrysler Town & Country minivan, to give the Chrysler steel a fighting chance against the Illinois and Wisconsin road crews.I will definitely buy more.
Bought a new aluminum trailer for my 17 ft skiff. The first thing to go in salt water is the leaf springs and shackles. I sprayed this corrosion inhibitor all over them with two coats and so far, I haven't see the first spot of rust on them. This is an unusual application, but it appears to work great so far!
all good as you would exxpect
I used this stuff as the final coat to the inner rocker panels of an old Volvo I'm restoring. After vacuuming out the lower rockers I sprayed them with a rust encapsulator, then some generic paint. That set for a few days and then used this stuff on top of that. I am thrilled with the coverage and consistency of the fluid. After drying there is no smell. I also like that it stays in place. Yes a little dripped out but that's to be expected. When dry the stuff has an antique yellow appearance so I wouldn't use it in a visible location. Because of its performance in the rocker panels I also used it on the bolts of a splash pan I reinstalled (in a 97 Mercury) and will also try it on battery terminals. When you see it applied you'll notice that the consistancy of the product is not too thick, not too thin. It encourages you to look for places to use it. For me, it'll be every exposed bolt that gets removed now and again that's not visible and not subject to a lot of heat.
It is... what it is. Does the job.
If you own a boat, you need this ! Non better !
Like most CRC products, this performs exceptionally well in a marine environment.
Not good for lubricating, dries into a waxy brownish coating on anything you spray it on. Excellent corrosion prevention, good on bolt heads, and all untreated metal surfaces. Do not use as a lubricant. Coating comes off with common de-greasers.
If you have metal parts that are exposed to salt water, this product is a must have. It works very well to protect against salt water corrosion, rust, and damage. It does leave somewhat of a very light gold-ish color to whatever it is sprayed on. It is fairly thick, but does not come off when exposed to saltwater. It is great quality. I highly recommend!
Seems to do its job. It's basically spray on wax preservative,
This outstanding product sprays easily, soaks into seams, and then hardens to a wax-like coating that does not wash off.
I live & work in a Ocean side community, this product works as advertised, leaves a waxy film that seems to hold up well for areas not exposed to wear/traffic and will it last a few weeks on areas that are exposed to light traffic/wear. In areas not exposed to wear renewing the film about every 6 months seems keep corrosion pretty much at bay.
Wear gloves and particle filter mask, make sure to use this product in a well ventilated area. I use this product to prevent corrosion under the car.Use common sense when using this product.
easy to use.
This stuff is amazing! It covers the metal and dries beautifully!!
Look no further if you need corrosion protection for marine applications. Bought this for my boat. Leaves a protective coating over exposed metal parts on my two outboards and other metal parts. Have tried other products but this seems to be the best corrosion protection out there.
I spray this all over my Mercruiser before winterization and before use in the summer. I would recommend degreasing the motor between uses. As with all CRC products it does what its supposed to do and works well.
Don't use too much as it is not conductive and the switch will not make contact. Will help prevent corrosion on the contacts. Spray some in, work the switch to be sure it still operates.
GREAT product to product from high humidity environment like south Louisisna or Florida. I spray my tools that are not used frequently and it provents that rusty pitting. Also spray my guns before using for duck hunting.
Seems to work well to prevent corrosion. Smells a little funny and is not clear, but it works to prevent corrosion.
CRC makes a great line of products and this is no exception. I use this for marine electronic terms, battery terms. I also pack a lightly soaked cotton pad with my other electronics in a dry bag when kayaking. Great for tool protection
All as described. Recently applied. No long term results available at this point.
A must for boats and aluminum parts
best on the market
Have used this stuff for YEARS. Love it. Works good. Coated a lot of my outside antenna connections. Like military cosmoline without the cloth. Great for preventing corrosion.
Simply awesome! This sprays on like a thinner oil, creeps into cracks, seams and rust, then thickens up as it sits. The final protection is a waxy/heavy greasy film. Spray in layers where added protection is needed. Obviously this won't stop or reverse rust damage, but it does wonders at halting the rust in its tracks. I use this on my classic cars to stabilize rust damage, and for this the product does an excellent job. The only thing I wish was better was the nozzle. It comes with a fine misty type nozzle, but for my purposes I change this out for a nozzle with a spray tube. With a spray tube nozzle in place this can be shot deep into hard to reach places. Other than the nozzle, the product itself works very well.
Coats well and heavy.
Use it on automotive underbodies, in areas that don't experience direct impingement of water or other substances from wheel rotation, that have light rust that I don't feel like prepping for paint. Handy to use and dries to a slightly tacky non-messy film.
works like a charm
This is a wonderful product to protect against rust. I had used and sold the other brand, but this turned out to be a virtual matchof the same quality. If you knock off the old rust with a wire wheel or brush, you only need to spray on this CRC Inhibitor to end upwith a professional quality protective coating. My boat trailer looks like it had a makeover. I also used it on my hitch receiver, and ittoo, looks almost new again. So, if it's rustable or corrodible, covert it with CRC 06026 and stop worrying about the problem. Fare price for what it does, and it's less costly than the other brand.
GOOD STUFF TO SPRAY FOR AUTOMOTIVE APPLICATION,SPRAY THIS FIRST LET IT DRY THEN SPRAY 3M UNDERCOATING,OR USE THIS ALONE IN PLACES LIKE THE ENGINE BAY FIREWALL INSIDE DOORS AND TRUNK
A must have for jet ski's. Spray down all metal parts after each ride and no corrosion so far.
If you want to prevent rust on your car this is the stuff you want. Save the frame of your car from the ravages of winter salt use.
Does what is supposed to do. Spray this stuff all over the jets on my boat after every other time I take it out in ocean.
I spray down my boat trailer at least once a month with this stuff. It works flawlessly. On a boating forum they tested a bunch of different anti-corrosion sprays and the CRC won the vote.I believe they sprayed bolts and nuts, setting them in saltwater for 2 weeks and no corrosion whatsoever.
Foes the job well. Costs what your trying to protect with a light tan colored film. Actually works.
Good for using on the boat, house and garden tools. Not only works as advertised (darn well) but smells good too. I keep one on the boat and one in the garden shed.
We live in the saltwater envirment where even the best stainless can rust. I use this stuff on everything and it works. Better the 40 for sure.
I'm happy with the protection this will give.
Works great on boat lift cables, slides, not as thick of a coating like the older stuff but still works!
I've used this for years and its the best I've found for protecting anything that gets exposed to water. I use it on boats and pwc to protect parts from corrosion, rust, etc. Definitely worth having for protecting expensive items.
Good quality and strong
This is a very good product, i used to protect my car undercarriage. To protect from salt roads. It aplys good no mess. Is like a waxy stuff but it drys fast. I would recommend this product
I used this to coat the inside of my steel bike frame. It works well. It's hard to get it into all the internal parts, as there's no straw extension. Otherwise, perfect product. It'd be best for its intended use, obviously, but it works well if you can't find frame saver.I think it smells good too, but I happen to like the smell of chemical solvents. Might be something wrong with me.
Really seems to stick to the under carriage of my car. I think it will really help with rust. I will say that I feel you should use it in a well ventilated area. I used it in my garage and could see the fumes in the air. The smell was pretty strong for awhile...although not totally unpleasant.
This stuff works great. If I had a ocean going boat, I would spray the entire thing with it, to make it last. I use it a lot. Wear a mask spraying it, it's strong.
Good product and value, really works.
Excellent product! I use it to prevent corrosion on my boat trailers and underneath my truck. My recommendation is to apply the product prior to any corrosion forming. I recoat yearly which may not even be necassary. This product is fantastic. Do not spray on anything you want to paint at a later time. The product is a yellow wax like substance that stays where you spray it.
I bought four cans and sprayed it into every place I could think of in my 78 Scout. I sprayed it down the rocker panel from both ends. When I crawled underneathe to spray the floor pan I could see the cosmoline leaching out the seams of the rocker panel below. It should stop crevice corrosion if it can penetrate into gaps like that.the cans have no straw type nozzle so I removed one from another product and that worked well to get inside panels and drilled holes.
good , the best
Very good product, spray on thin film, dries quickly, stays on very well, stops corrosion. I will buy more when needed.
I really like this stuff. I have quite a few old iron things that don't get used much in my barn. When I put them away, I spray them down with this stuff and they do not rust. I love the smell of it too.
Unique in that it simply looks like a spray lube out of the can but after a few minutes sets up with a nice thin waxy-like film that lasts and lasts. Used on my boat engine compartment on everything metal and two seasons later you can still see the coating (not on metal that gets hot). No corrosion no rust no s---!
Everything that CRC sells is quality.
This is very much like Cosmoline, but easier. I used a semilunar product that was sold under LPS brand when my car was new. I sprayed that stuff (about 10 cans) over every exposed surface on the undercarriage and between the body panels of my 1997 Rav-4. Twenty three years later no rust through on any of the panels and the undercarriage looks great. Even my mechanic says; "It's amazing". The stuff can be made more fluid or cleaned up when sprayed with WD-40.This stuff that looks the same (a little less yellow), and smells the same. So... I hope it should work the same. The smell fades in a few weeks.Use a mask when spraying this stuff! You don't want it in your lungs.
Worth every penny!
This stuff works great on cars. Sticks well and stays put when it dries. I sprayed it on the brake lines on my 2000 Honda Accord that have surface rust. A little squirt now will save a lot of pain and expense later! Sprayed this stuff on them in the fall and it stood up to the winter well.Note - The description says 16oz but what I got was 10oz cans. So the 5 star rating is for the product, NOT the description!!!
Just what everyone told me about was true .You need to have this Incase you live by the water
Seems to work. Will know more in a year or two.
use this on the boat trailer which launches in salt water, has stopped the hardware corrosion issues. Very pleased with this and at a good price.
great corrosion protection
